For the past four years, we have truly enjoyed coming together in the community to put love into action and honor Oakland Leaf’s incredible youth. We are in unpredictable times as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve. In order to take precautionary steps to protect our community and the spread of the virus, we’ve decided to shift our 5th Annual Gala: Root In, Rise Up on March 19th from an in-person event to a digital celebration. At Oakland Leaf, we are committed to approaching this challenge with creativity, facilitating a meaningful digital experience for our community while raising the needed funds to support a safe space for youth to learn and grow during out-of-school time hours.
