Bio

Victoria Mesa-Wilson was born and raised in Cavite, a city on the south side of Manila Bay in the Republic of the Philippines. From an early age, her main inspiration was her father who led the family by example and believed "Education is a power that can never be taken away." To relieve financial stress and provide better educations to his children, Victoria's father worked abroad for long periods of time. He was the type of man who would give so much love yet demand so little. This was not evident until his death four years ago when people no one in the family knew came forward to pay their respects and told of what a generous man he was. At the age of twenty, Victoria graduated from Santa Isabel College in Manila with Bachelor's of Science degrees in Accounting and International Relations.

Victoria has worked for fifteen years with several CPA firms in the Bay Area serving as staff and then senior accountant. As a part of the everyday job in these positions, Victoria handled clients varying from small- to mid-sized companies, including Bimbo's 365 Club of San Francisco and The Oaks Card Club of Emeryville. Victoria is also a proud member of the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA).

After getting married and having three children of her own, Victoria became more interested in helping children and young adults, adopting the motto, "kids first!"

Victoria finds working for Oakland Leaf a very fulfilling privilege because it provides her the daily opportunity to meet and interact with new people while helping children.
